Asking a consultant for approval
One link, one question, and what the consultant can and cannot see.
Some things only the consultant can answer: agreeing to go to a client, signing a right to represent, confirming an interview time, releasing a document.
What they see
Only what the question requires. Never the vendor, never the rate, and never where the requirement came from.
One live link at a time
Issuing a new link for the same question kills the previous one. Two live links means the answer that lands depends on which email they happened to open, which is not a thing you want to discover later.
A link is shown once and never stored — only its hash is kept. If it is lost, issue another; nobody can recover the original.
A consultant who has a login also sees these under Waiting on you and can answer there instead.
Frequently asked
Can a consultant see the rate on an approval?
No. Consultant-facing surfaces never carry a rate, in any screen or email, which is a property of the product rather than a setting.
What if they never answer?
The submission waits on them and says so. It appears on the desk's own list as waiting on the consultant rather than quietly stalling.
Is a signature legally held?
The signed document and what was agreed to are kept on the submission, with who signed and when.
