Where the work comes from

Everything in your market arrived from a source: a job board, a mailbox, a feed, a channel. What each one is actually contributing is worth more attention than most desks give it.

Pulled is not a total

It is what the most recent run returned. A healthy source that has already collected everything available sits at zero, and a source that has never run is shown differently from one that ran and found nothing — those are different problems.

Trust settles disagreements

When the same requirement arrives from several places with different details, trust decides whose version of a field is believed. That is why two sources carrying one role does not produce two half-right records.

What a source is really worth

• The roles it brings, and whether it states rates and contact details at all.
• How much of what it has ever sent is still live — vendor work turns over in days, an employer requisition stays open for weeks.
• Its recent runs, and whether the last one actually reached the provider.

When it runs

Schedules layer: a global default, then per provider, then per source, and the most specific one wins. Sources run one at a time, so a backlog clears in order rather than all at once, and quiet hours are respected in the timezone set beside them.

Test connection reaches the provider now and reports exactly what it said. On a metered source that spends one call — which is why it is a button rather than something that runs on its own.
